1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PlaygroundCY, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or website.
2. What PlaygroundCY provides
PlaygroundCY helps families discover playgrounds in Cyprus using maps, shade indicators, reviews, photos, filters, saved lists, notifications, and community-submitted information. The app is an information and planning tool. It is not a safety inspection service, emergency service, municipality authority, or official playground operator.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account, including writing reviews, adding playgrounds, saving lists, uploading photos, and receiving personalized notifications. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.
4. Playground information is community based
Playground names, locations, amenities, opening hours, photos, shade levels, safety reports, ratings, and other details may be submitted by users and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Before visiting or allowing children to play, you should check the playground conditions yourself.
5. Parent and caregiver responsibility
You are responsible for supervising children, assessing equipment, judging age suitability, checking weather and heat conditions, reviewing hazards, and following local rules. PlaygroundCY does not guarantee that any playground is safe, clean, open, shaded, or suitable for a particular child.
6. User contributions
You may submit reviews, ratings, comments, photos, issue reports, playground details, and verification votes. By submitting content, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not violate the rights or privacy of others.
You grant PlaygroundCY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, moderate, edit for formatting, translate, and distribute your submitted content for operating and promoting the service.
7. Photo and child safety rules
Do not upload photos that identify children or private individuals without permission. Do not upload sensitive, offensive, dangerous, misleading, copyrighted, or unlawful content. We may remove photos or other content if we believe removal is appropriate.
8. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, explicit, or illegal content.
- Misuse safety reports, reviews, ratings, verification votes, or notification features.
- Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or interfere with PlaygroundCY systems.
- Access another user account, impersonate someone, or bypass security controls.
- Use PlaygroundCY for unlawful, commercial, or automated purposes without permission.
9. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, edit, hide, remove, or reject content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm the community, or create risk for PlaygroundCY or its users.
10. Third-party services
PlaygroundCY may link to or integrate third-party services such as maps, directions, authentication providers, app stores, analytics, messaging, or cloud infrastructure. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or permanent storage of user content.
12. Disclaimers
PlaygroundCY is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlaygroundCY and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for injuries, losses, or claims arising from playground conditions, user content, third-party services, or reliance on app information.
14. Account deletion
You may request deletion of your account and personal data. Details are available on the Delete Data page. Some anonymized, aggregated, legal, security, or community safety records may be retained where permitted or required.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as PlaygroundCY evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of PlaygroundCY after changes means you accept the updated terms.
