- Device and usage information such as app version, device type, crash logs, diagnostics, approximate region, and interaction events.
3. Location data
PlaygroundCY uses location to show nearby playgrounds, calculate distance, sort results, suggest local places, support map interactions, and send optional nearby playground notifications. You can deny or disable location permissions in your device settings. Some features may be less accurate without location access.
4. Photos, reviews, and public contributions
Photos, playground details, shade ratings, comments, reviews, issue reports, contributor names, badges, and contribution stats may be shown publicly in the app. Please avoid uploading photos that identify children, private individuals, homes, license plates, or sensitive personal information unless you have the right permission.
5. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Operate maps, search, filters, playground details, reviews, saved lists, and profile features.
- Publish and verify community-submitted playground information.
- Personalize recommendations based on saved places, filters, child age profiles, and location permissions.
- Send optional push notifications, safety alerts, saved playground updates, and weekly digests.
- Improve app reliability, prevent fraud or abuse, investigate reports, and enforce community standards.
- Respond to support requests, account deletion requests, and legal obligations.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and device access.
10. Children
PlaygroundCY is intended for parents, guardians, and adult caregivers. It is not designed for children to create accounts or submit personal information. Child age profiles are optional and should be limited to age range information needed for recommendations.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal data. You can manage many choices in the app by editing your profile, disabling notifications, removing saved lists, editing reviews, deleting photos, or changing device permissions.
