Delete Data

Delete your PlaygroundCY data

Last updated: April 21, 2026. This page explains how users can request deletion of their PlaygroundCY account and personal data.

1. What you can delete

You can request deletion of your PlaygroundCY account and personal data, including account details, profile information, saved lists, favourites, notification preferences, child age profiles, review history linked to your account, photos linked to your account, and contribution metadata.

2. Delete from inside the app

  1. Open the PlaygroundCY app.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Open Settings or Account Settings.
  4. Select Delete Account or Delete My Data.
  5. Confirm the request using the email address linked to your account.

Once confirmed, we will begin processing the deletion request. You may lose access to saved playgrounds, review history, badges, contribution stats, personalized recommendations, and saved lists.

3. Delete by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@playgroundfindercy.com from the email address linked to your PlaygroundCY account with the subject "Delete My Data".

Please include:

  • Your PlaygroundCY account email address.
  • Your display name, if you have one.
  • A short statement that you want your account and personal data deleted.

4. Verification

To protect users, we may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. We may send a confirmation message or ask for limited information needed to match the account. We will not ask for your password.

5. Processing time

We aim to process valid deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex, legally restricted, or requires extra verification, it may take longer. We will let you know if more time is needed.

6. Data that may remain

Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, or community safety reasons. For example, we may retain anonymized playground facts, aggregated statistics, moderation logs, or safety issue records if removing them would reduce the accuracy or safety of the playground database.

Where practical, retained community content will be anonymized or disconnected from your account.

7. Deleted data cannot be restored

Once deletion is completed, your account and deleted personal data may not be recoverable. If you create a new account later, previous saved lists, badges, reviews, photos, and settings may not return.

8. Other privacy requests

You may also contact us to request access, correction, export, or restriction of personal data, depending on your location and applicable law. Send privacy requests to support@playgroundfindercy.com.
